Finding Your Meter Numbers (MPAN and MPRN)

Your meter numbers are like your energy supply's home address-they help us identify exactly which meters we'll be supplying. Don't worry, finding them is easier than you might think!

For electricity (MPAN): Your MPAN (Meter Point Administration Number) is a 13-digit number that identifies your electricity meter. You can find it:

  • On your current electricity bill (usually near the top or in the account details section)

  • On the meter itself (though it might be partially hidden)

  • By contacting your current supplier

It typically looks like this: 10 12345 67890 123

For gas (MPRN): Your MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number) is a 6-10 digit number for your gas supply. Look for it:

  • On your gas bill

  • On your meter (sometimes displayed digitally)

  • From your current gas supplier

It's usually just a string of numbers: 1234567890

Can't find your numbers? No problem! If you have a recent energy bill handy, just upload it during the sign-up process and we'll extract the information for you. Alternatively, give us a call and we'll help you track them down together.
